21 oxygen concentrators will be transferred to Kurakhavo City Hospital, Volnovakha Central District Hospital, Mariupol City Hospital No. 9, Berdiansk Territorial Medical Association.

Oxygen concentrators are needed for the treatment of patients with moderate severity of the disease. 10-liter oxygen concentrator KSOC-5 by Jiangsu Konsung Bio-Medical Science and Technology Co. Ltd. can simultaneously provide two patients who need oxygen support during COVID-19 treatment. This safe to use and energy-saving model of oxygen concentrator will be useful even after the pandemic: it can be used to treat not only respiratory diseases, but also cardiovascular and cerebral vascular systems diseases and hypoxia.

"Today, the medical system of Ukraine needs the support of business and charitable foundations. Together with the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation, the bank will provide the necessary equipment for the hospital in the east - we will deliver 21 oxygen concentrators. A total of 140 concentrators will be delivered by our team to 27 hospitals in different regions of Ukraine. We consider ourselves responsible for what happens in the territory were we have our business. So we want to support our clients, partners, colleagues, friends. In the fight against COVID-19, everyone's contribution is important," stressed Andriy Vysotskyi, head of the FUIB Regional Center in Mariupol.

Oxygen supply to critically ill patients comes to the fore in the treatment of Covid-19 in the hospital. Oxygen helps to recover faster, significantly improves the quality of treatment, reduces the number of complications. In this regard, our gratitude to FUIB and the Foundation is boundless. These organizations will take part in every life saved,” said Oleksandr Zheleznyak, chief physician of the Mariupol City Hospital No. 9.

"Mariupol has systematically approached the fight against the coronavirus epidemic. The city has developed a clear algorithm of actions, which is designed to prevent the spread of the disease. Mariupol's position is strengthened by assistance from socially responsible businesses. Due to the consolidation of efforts, the situation in the city remains under control and stable. I am confident that by uniting we will cope with this challenge," said Kseniya Sukhova, Secretary of the Mariupol City Council.

We would like to remind that in early December, FUIB, in partnership with the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation, transferred high-quality ventilator to the intensive care unit of Kyiv City Clinical Hospital No.4. And in the spring of 2020, we purchased medical equipment and personal protective gear for hospitals in Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi, Ternopil, Donetsk and Luhansk regions. A total of 156 hospitals in Eastern and Western Ukraine received aid. The bank and the Foundation handed over to medical facilities 2 ventilators, 2 invasive patient monitors, more than 47,000 protective suits, 4,400 personal protective gear kits, 1,200 sanitizers, and 650 pulse oximeters. In addition, the bank provided 1,500 doctors in 9 reference hospitals at its own expense with StopCoronavirus insurance.

When Ukraine faced the pandemic, Rinat Akhmetov was the first to come to the help. He combined the resources of the Charitable Foundation, DTEK, FC Shakhtar and other SCM assets. Due to this, 300 million hryvnias were allocated to help the country in the fight against coronavirus. This is the largest contribution of one philanthropist to public medicine. For effective work, the Foundation created the Fighting COVID-19 in Ukraine project, which became part of the Rinat Akhmetov - Saving Lives program. The project has no analogues in the country. This is the largest, most systematic and large-scale private initiative aimed at helping public health facilities to fight coronavirus.
