On May 13 and on May 15, FUIB, in partnership with the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation, donated two ventilators and two invasive patient monitors to hospitals in Chernivtsi and Ivano-Frankivsk regions working with COVID-19 COVID-19 coronavirus patients. And the hospitals of Luhansk and Donetsk regions received protective suits and personal protection kits.
On May 15, a lung ventilator and an invasive patient monitor were delivered to the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Clinical Infectious Diseases Hospital of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Council, and on May 13, a ventilator and an invasive patient monitor were delivered to the Hlyboka Central District Hospital in the Chernivtsi region.

As a socially responsible business and as conscious citizens of our country, we continue to assist country's doctors in the difficult fight against COVID-19. The Western region was one of the first to take the blow in the battle with the epidemic, and the East is currently the least protected because it has suffered from a military conflict. Today, we donated lung ventilators and invasive patient monitors to hospitals in the West, and personal protective kits and protective suits to hospitals in the East. We do not stop calling on other businesses to join the fight against the epidemic and support our doctors in every way possible. Together we will overcome COVID-19 much faster", stressed Serhiy Chernenko, FUIB's Chairman of the Board.
We would like to remind that on April 10, FUIB together with the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation handed over the first batch of 8,000 sets of personal protective equipment to hospitals in Lviv, on April 16, to hospitals of the Ivano-Frankivsk region, on April 29 to hospitals of the Chernivtsi region and on May 6, 5,000 sets to hospitals of the Ternopil region.
Rinat Akhmetov has allocated UAH 300 million for the fight against COVID-19. For this purpose, he has combined all resources - the resources of the Charitable Foundation, FC Shakhtar, FUIB, DTEK, Metinvest, and other SCM assets - in order to help Ukraine. 300,000 coronavirus rapid tests, specialized protective equipment for doctors, high-quality lung ventilators, etc. have been purchased for the entire country.
As part of this initiative, FUIB supported clinics in the Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi, Ternopil, Donetsk and Luhansk regions and purchased several thousand oximeters, pulse oximeters, sanitizers, and more than 40,000 of personal protective equipment (glasses, respirators, overalls, surgical gowns, gloves, long shoe covers). This equipment was transferred to hospitals in different regions of Ukraine to provide medical assistance to COVID-19 patients.
