PUMB Reports UAH 3.12 Billion Profit for H1 2026 and Continues to Expand Lending to Ukrainian Businesses
First Ukrainian International Bank (PUMB) has announced its financial results for the first half of 2026. The Bank continues to operate steadily under wartime conditions, maintaining profitability while delivering growth across its key business areas.
PUMB's net profit for the first six months of 2026 amounted to UAH 3.12 billion. The Bank's total assets increased to UAH 238.8 billion, up 3.3% since the beginning of the year. Equity rose to UAH 34.9 billion, an increase of 10.5%.
"The first half of 2026 once again demonstrated the resilience of Ukraine's economy and the remarkable adaptability of Ukrainian businesses. Despite the ongoing challenges of wartime, we continue to support our clients, actively finance the economy, invest in digital services, and create new opportunities for entrepreneurs. Supporting Ukrainian businesses remains one of our key priorities, as it is an investment in the country's recovery and future," commented Serhii Chernenko, Chairman of the Management Board of PUMB.
PUMB continues to expand its lending activities. The Bank's total loan portfolio reached UAH 115.4 billion, up 17.6% since the beginning of the year.
The corporate loan portfolio (net of expected credit losses) increased to UAH 86.4 billion, up 15.5%, while the retail loan portfolio grew to UAH 29.0 billion, marking an increase of 24.2%.
PUMB continues to enjoy the trust of millions of Ukrainians and thousands of businesses. As of 30 June 2026, total customer funds amounted to UAH 194.6 billion, representing a 1.8% increase since the beginning of the year.
For the first half of 2026, PUMB's net interest income reached UAH 10.88 billion, up 33.7% compared with the same period last year. Net fee and commission income increased by 9.7% to UAH 1.92 billion.
The Bank continues to invest in modern financial services, digital technologies, and customer experience. During the first half of the year, PUMB became the first bank in Ukraine to receive authorization from the National Bank of Ukraine in the field of Open Banking. The Bank also received a number of professional awards recognizing its marketing communications, sustainability initiatives, and corporate social responsibility.
PUMB remains a socially responsible business and continues to support the state and society. Since the start of the full-scale invasion, the Bank has paid UAH 22.8 billion in taxes to the state budget, while its social investments have exceeded UAH 1.4 billion.
