The financial future of veterans' families: the Financial Restart chatbot teaches how to save for education and retirement

The free educational chatbot "Financial Restart" from FUIB, created within the "Live towards" platform, continues to expand the training program. An eighth week has been added to the seven existing weeks - "Planning the Family's Financial Future."

The new course will help veterans and their families learn how to create long-term financial goals, save for education, housing, and retirement, and understand the ins and outs of insurance.

What’s this week all about?
Week 8 of the Financial Restart program is dedicated to strategic planning for families. Participants will learn:

• How to set long-term financial goals correctly.
• Which tools are best for saving for big purchases, children's education or retirement.
• The basics of insurance: how to choose a reliable company, what to pay attention to in the contract and what guarantees the client has.
• How to create a personal financial plan for the year.

The speaker of the week was Anna Samoilenko - a certified financial consultant with over 25 years of business management experience and 5 years of practice in financial consulting, a specialist in pension savings programs.

“Financial Restart”: Is learning on a smartphone effective?
The “Financial Restart” chatbot is a free educational program designed for veterans and their family members, available to all Ukrainians over the age of 18. In eight weeks, participants will master practical skills that will allow them to:

Learning takes place in a familiar messenger - without complex platforms and additional registrations. Users choose their own pace of learning: take lessons on the way from work, at home or during breaks between tasks. The format of daily support combines short videos, text explanations, practical tasks and tests, which allows you to learn the material without overload and stress, which is extremely important during the period of adaptation after the front and in conditions of general instability in the country.

Learning progress is saved: after each week you can return to the course from where you left off, or go through the material again to consolidate your knowledge. Such flexibility makes the program convenient for people with a busy schedule and a high level of workload.
