FUIB launches the third season of the “Live towards” program: grants of up to one million hryvnias for veteran-owned businesses

On November 4, 2025, a new season of the educational and grant program “Live towards” by FUIB Bank will launch, in partnership with the Future Development Agency and KSE Graduate Business School. The program’s mission remains the same — to help veterans launch or grow their own businesses together with family members or friends. But it’s not only about business — it’s also about the path toward financial independence, self-fulfillment, and successful reintegration into civilian life.
Education, mentoring, grants
The program provides training, mentoring and expert support and financing of business ideas. This time, 40 teams consisting of two participants will be able to obtain the necessary knowledge and practical recommendations for entrepreneurship: veteran (s)/serviceman (s) – combatant and civilian.
Up to 20 winners, who will responsibly undergo training and present the best business plans, will receive grants for opening or developing their own business: UAH 500,000 – startups (beginners), up to a million – experienced teams (business already working).
Results of past programs
Previous seasons of the educational and grant program gave impressive results, and the stories of the winners inspired FUIB to continue supporting veterans.
In the first season, 297 applications were submitted for participation in the program, and 14 winning teams received grants. In the second season, there were twice as many — 430 applicants, of which 35 teams already defended their projects before experts.
In the second season, 17 winners received grants from half a million to a million hryvnias. 3 more will be announced based on the results of additional selection.
Thanks to this support, Ukraine will produce meat snacks, personalized covers for prostheses and metal fasteners, publish books and build inclusive houses, create recreation and rehabilitation facilities for children, etc.
Such examples testify to the importance and great potential of veteran entrepreneurship – for the integration of defenders into civilian life, for the well-being of them and their families, for the creation of new jobs in the country.
