FUIB Employees purchased personal protective equipment for 11 reference hospitals in seven Ukrainian cities
Employees of FUIB took part in “Support Medical Workers - Save Lives!” charity campaign and purchased personal protective equipment for healthcare workers of 11 reference hospitals from seven cities in Ukraine.
FUIB employees joined the bank's charity initiative to assist Ukrainian hospitals in the fight against the COVID-19 epidemic and raised more than 560,000 UAH in a week. As part of the "Support Medical Workers - Save Lives!" charity campaign, respirators, protective overalls, masks and glasses were purchased for medical workers from 11 reference hospitals in seven Ukrainian cities.
200 protective suits, 100 protective respirators and 21 pair of glasses were handed over to the Lviv Regional Children's Clinical Hospital "Okhmatdyt" and to the Military Medical Clinical Center of the Western region.
Kyiv City Clinical Hospital No. 9 received more than 200 protective suits, 100 respirators, 15 pairs of glasses and 25 sets of medical masks from the FUIB team.
250 protective suits, 300 respirators and 35 pairs of glasses were transferred to Kyiv City Clinical Hospital No. 4.
The Bank's employees supported the Regional Infectious Diseases Hospital in Zaporizhzhia and Professor Y.H. Popkova City Clinical Hospital No. 21 in Dnipro. 100 suits and 87 respirators were transferred to the hospital No. 21 and 100 protective suits and 90 respirators to the hospital in Zaporizhzhia.
FUIB employees handed over 100 protective suits and 36 respirators to Kharkiv Regional Clinical Infectious Diseases Hospital and 100 protective suits to Kharkiv City Clinical Hospital No. 13.
City emergency care hospital in Mariupol received 50 protective suits and 10 pairs of glasses.
Mariupol I.K. Matsuk City Hospital No. 4 was handed over 50 protective suits and 10 pairs of glasses.
For Children's Regional Hospital in Odesa, FUIB employees purchased 125 suits and 21 respirators.
Svitlana Tykhonenko, Head of the Employer Brand Development Department, who organized and promoted the event, commented:

FUIB has proved once again that we are a TEAM. It should be understood that in this difficult time, not only suits and respirators are important for doctors but also emotional support. The work of volunteers, joint effort of indifferent people like us at FUIB, provides them with the strength and energy to fight COVID-19. Their gratitude and warm words touch the very heart. This is important, because we are not only united by business results, but also when we JOINTLY help those who need it most! ”
We would like to remind that FUIB has joined the global initiative of the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation to help Ukrainian hospitals combat COVID-19 epidemic and supported clinics in the Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi, Donetsk and Luhansk regions and purchased several thousand oximeters, pulse oximeters, sanitizers, and more than 20,000 of personal protective equipment (glasses, respirators, overalls, surgical gowns, gloves, long shoe covers). This equipment will be transferred to hospitals in different regions of Ukraine by the end of April to provide medical assistance to COVID-19 patients. In addition, two lung ventilators will be transferred to hospitals in western regions.
