FUIB created a special section on bank’s website “Sustainable Development”, dedicated to the company’s sustainable development, implementation of CSR projects, and social investment. 

Transparency index is the assessment of the level of CSR information disclosure on the company’s website. It has been implemented by CSR Ukraine already for 8 years and is the only such practice in Ukraine. Websites of TOP-100 Ukrainian companies are assessed based on four categories: reporting, content, navigation, and accessibility. This method of assessment helps companies look at their websites through the eyes of their stakeholders and respond to changes faster.

The head of CSR Ukraine Maryna Saprykina gave FUIB the first “C”-level certificate of the company’s website transparency in Ukraine: “So far, the average level of CSR information disclosure on Ukrainian companies’ websites remains quite low — 21.7%. This figure is the result of the Transparency Index and CSR of the companies’ websites last year. In order to improve the situation, Center for CSR Development introduced website certification. And we are pleased that it is FUIB that received the first certificate in 2019. I am thankful to the bank for taking the certification seriously and for working hard to get the certificate.”

Serhiy Chernenko, FUIB's chairman of the board, commented on the fact that the bank received the certificate: “Today, trust is the most valuable asset of large companies. By creating safe and comfortable working conditions for our employees, ensuring their development and training, improving the quality of bank’s products and services, developing the business environment, and raising the level of Ukrainians’ financial literacy we support the principles of sustainable business in Ukraine.”
