FUIB Processing Center completed the implementation of contactless payment technology PayPass by MasterCard

The Processing Center of First Ukrainian International Bank (FUIB) has successfully passed the certification for issuing of contactless cards of international payment system MasterCard Worldwide, and for the processing of transactions using contactless technology PayPass. Furthermore, in order to provide full functionality for issuing and servicing of PayPass cards from MasterCard, FUIB Processing center successfully completed the certification of terminal equipment that allows partner banks to carry out acquiring of PayPass payment cards.

"We offer our partners an opportunity to expand the possibilities of their clients’ credit and debit cards by issuing contactless PayPass cards from MasterCard. Such a card allows the holder to pay for purchases in just 5 seconds, what is much faster than the usual method of payment through the trading terminal," said Yulia Shatrova, Head of FUIB Processing Center.

Now, partner banks of FUIB Processing Center have the ability to issue and service cards for their customers. These cards allow one to pay for purchases with a single touch to the trading terminal.

In addition, FUIB Processing Center can now process operations of contactless PayPass cards from MasterCard, issued by other banks. In Ukraine, one can pay in more than 1,500 retail outlets and at the Kyiv subway using PayPass cards from MasterCard.

Reference: FUIB Processing center offers full support of the project for the partner banks of both associates/affiliates and principal participants of the IPS Visa International and MasterCard Worldwide concerning issuing and servicing of payment cards (ATM/POS). All ATMs connected to FUIB Processing Center are united in the ATM network "Radius", which together with the partner ATM network consists of more than 2,000 devices in more than 300 cities and towns in all regions of Ukraine.
