FUIB Bank is updating the charitable initiative "Not Just Skins", thanks to which users can help wounded soldiers by changing skins from the "We Are of the Same Blood" collection in the mobile application.

If previously skins from FUIB helped deliver blood to hot spots, now the funds will be directed to the purchase of special cassettes for warming blood - equipment that allows combat medics to perform transfusions near the front line quickly and safely.

The initiative is implemented in partnership with the Solomyanski Kotiki Foundation, which provides medics with the necessary equipment, in particular cassettes for Ranger, Belmont and MEQU heaters. One such cassette costs almost 2,000 UAH and actually allows for one blood transfusion.

Why should the blood be warm? In case of significant blood loss, the wounded person develops hemorrhagic shock - the body loses heat, the blood clots worse, and important organs do not receive enough oxygen. Transfusion of warmed blood improves the transport of oxygen in the body, and therefore becomes an important factor in saving lives.

"The fastest "killer" is cold. When a wounded person loses blood, we return it back, but only warm. For this, we use Ranger-type heaters. The essence is simple: the cassette in the device warms the solution - and this saves from shock. Recently, a soldier with an amputation was brought to us: pale, cold, unconscious. After 25 minutes of working with warm blood, he came to his senses and said: "Am I alive?". It is for such moments that we work," shares Oksana, an anesthesiologist of the 47th Magura Motorized Rifle Brigade.

How can your charitable skin help? Each change of the skin from the “We Are of the Same Blood” collection in the FUIB application works as a donation: the bank automatically generates 10 UAH for the purchase of cassettes for blood warmers. 200 skins downloaded by users allow you to purchase one cassette. By changing the design of the card every month, users can help again and again, tracking the number of cassettes purchased directly on the project page https://lifesavingmerch.com.ua/skins

Active participants in the initiative will traditionally receive a nice incentive: every month until the end of 2026, among all those who downloaded a skin from the charity collection, three people will be randomly selected to receive merch from the “We Are of the Same Blood” project - a T-shirt, shopper, longsleeve or other novelty. This is gratitude for contributing to the common cause!

FUIB is convinced: being useful is the duty of the rear. And even such a simple action as changing the charity skin in the application can become part of this process. Choose your skin and help save those who protect us!

FUIB's social mission

The bank systematically works with the topic of donation and support for the army. The FUIB social project "We Are of the Same Blood" appeared out of a desire to be integrated into the chain of saving defenders. The first step was charity merch from Ukrainian manufacturers and illustrators, the funds from the order of which are directed to medical equipment for defenders and equipment for paramedics.

In 2025, as part of the initiative to save lives, the bank launched the "Warmblooded" mobile donor hub, which has already collected 741.6 liters of blood.

Also last year, the “Not Just Skins” project was launched, and already in 2025, six special card designs helped raise 325,820 UAH, of which 150,000 UAH was directed to delivering blood to hot spots, and 175,820 UAH will be transferred this month to purchase medical cassettes for a new direction of support for the Solomyanski Kotiki Foundation.

Now the bank is taking the next step — helping to warm blood for transfusion. When the injury is critical, warm blood saves lives on the front lines.
