A New “Teplokrovna” T-Shirt and UAH 899,000 in Aid: How the “We Are of the Same Blood” Project Is Growing and Developing

The "We Are of the Same Blood" project continues to turn merch into real help. Over the entire time, the project managed to raise UAH 16,628,749.62, and the number of potentially saved lives reached 263,078. In May-June alone, FUIB transferred another UAH 899,080 to partner public organizations for hemostatic agents, blood handling equipment, and medical supplies.

Behind each big number are specific things that doctors need every day:

• In May-June, "Blood Agents" received UAH 300,000. The funds were directed to 229 SICH hemostatic agents and 229 SICH tourniquets.
• Another UAH 300,000 was transferred by FUIB to "Hospitaliers". With these funds, they purchased two portable vein finders KONTED KT-10, two automatic external defibrillators 19 Plus AED Amoul, a portable vacuum aspirator ASU-I AMOUL, 100 combined tests for hepatitis B and C, syphilis and HIV, as well as two automatic Omron EVOLV tonometers.
• "Solomyanki Kotyki" received UAH 299,080 for equipment for working with blood: eight laboratory water baths VB-4 MICROmed for its heating and five refrigerators for storage.

Along with the areas of assistance, the merch itself is also developing. This summer, the “Teplokrovni” collection was supplemented with a new yellow T-shirt. Its feature is a thermoreactive fabric that changes color from body heat, and after cooling returns to its original shade. Thus, the collection, created around the theme of blood donation, has received another way to talk about human warmth literally.

And this is just one of the additions. Ahead are new collections, ambassadors and partnerships with Ukrainian brands. “We Are of the Same Blood” continues to unite more and more people, businesses and communities around assistance. The larger this community becomes, the more opportunities there are to support those in need.

And while new items appear, their main goal remains the same - to help.

50% of the cost of items ordered on Lifesaving Merch FUIB directs to the project’s charitable initiatives. These funds are converted into tactical medicine, equipment for working with blood, support for the recovery of people after injuries and other areas of assistance.
