FUIB invested UAH 100 million in creating an inclusive business

FUIB developed the physical accessibility of branches from 2019 to 2023, and from 2024 it began to create a fully inclusive bank - in culture, service, physical spaces and digital channels. In 2025, investments in the financial institution's inclusion were doubled compared to previous years due to the purchase of modern equipment to serve people with various types of disabilities.
FUIB Bank began working on business accessibility back in 2019. Initially, the focus was on accessible entrance groups of branches, and from 2024, the formation of an inclusive culture in the team and the use of technologies to enable inclusive service in various channels of the bank began.
The total amount of investments in FUIB's barrier-free business amounted to over UAH 100 million. From 2019 to 2023, over UAH 62 million was directed to the installation of ramps, lifts, ramps, and repair work in the entrance groups of all branches. In 2024, over UAH 13 million was invested in the continued development of accessible spaces in branches, conducting a digital audit of mobile applications and websites, and forming an inclusive culture in the bank.
In 2025, all branches of the bank will have barrier-free entrance, except for two premises where the arrangement of the entrance group is impossible due to the technological features of the premises. UAH 24.5 million was financed for branch repairs and the introduction of technologies. At the end of the year, 205 operating branches of FUIB throughout Ukraine had an accessible entrance group - ramps, lifts, zero entrance, navigation and warning elements, Braille signs. For people with hearing or speech impairments, all standard branches of FUIB have the opportunity to call a professional sign language interpreter. In 97 branches, an internal barrier-free space is equipped: lowered cash desks, handrails, crutch holders, waiting areas for people in wheelchairs, adapted bathrooms, where possible. For people with visual impairments, a voice assistant has been installed in ATMs in 88 branches and at another 70 ATMs outside the branches.
By the end of 2025, the bank will have ensured physical and information accessibility in 50% of branches in each region of the country. It has completed work on the arrangement of internal accessible space in 97 branches, and has carried out work on the adaptation of digital channels (mobile applications, bank websites).
FUIB is constantly developing an inclusive culture in the bank - it regularly holds webinars, trainings, and e-courses for employees to understand the needs in servicing people with various types of disabilities.
Chairman of the Board of FUIB, Serhiy Chernenko, said: "Inclusivity in doing business is a key objective of the bank's sustainable development strategy. The FUIB team is happy to work on being a convenient, accessible and safe bank, where every person feels valued and heard, and has equal opportunities."
