In Dnipro, the installation “Manifesto of Equality of Differents” was presented — a special pop-up showcase featuring diverse mannequins, including two with prosthetics and one in a wheelchair. Yet they all stand side by side, united by movement towards one another. The project was implemented within the framework of the veterans’ integration platform “Live towards” by FUIB Bank, with the support of the Superhumans Center. It is dedicated to promoting inclusiveness and equality among Ukrainians in all spheres of life — in entrepreneurship and sports, in public spaces and in fashion.

After a successful launch at TSUM Kyiv, the installation set off on a journey across the country to become closer to those for whom it was created. The first regional point was the Dnipro TRK MOST-city, the installation is located in the central atrium on the 2nd floor and will be available to visitors until December 16, 2026.

“Manifesto of Equality of Different” is not just a composition of mannequins. These are objects that are, for the first time in Ukraine, made according to the individual parameters of people with prostheses. They were created by specialists from the Superhumans Center, working every day alongside military and civilian patients who are undergoing rehabilitation after injuries. These mannequins contain real silhouettes and proportions of those who are regaining movement, strength, and a new normality.

The mannequins are dressed in the “We Are of the Same Blood” merchandise from the “Extraordinary” collection, each item purchased of which is equivalent to one adaptive training session for a veteran (about the collection on the website: lifesavingmerch.com.ua/nadzvychajni).

Stylistically, the mannequins’ looks were complemented by Ukrainian brands VOVK and SOLMAR, emphasizing that fashion can also be a language of respect and visibility. Together, this creates images that go far beyond the usual glossy window display and address the real experiences of people after injuries.

Before the official presentation, an educational meeting was held at the Superhumans Center for journalists and editors of regional media. Tetyana Kolesnyk, Head of Social Projects at FUIB, spoke about the development of a culture of inclusion at the bank: building accessible branches, improving mobile applications and the website, and training employees in barrier-free communication in order to be a convenient, accessible, and safe bank where everyone feels valued and heard.

The tour of the Superhumans Center in Dnipro was an opportunity to see how prosthetics and rehabilitation are performed, to hear the stories of patients and teams that help them return to active life every day. After the tour, journalists listened to a lecture by Ivan Marchak, an expert in social reintegration at the “Equal to Equal” department of the Superhumans Center. He spoke about the fact that barrier-freeness does not begin with a ramp, but with a word. The lecture included specific advice on how to avoid stereotypes and speak to people with disabilities in a way that makes them feel dignified.

Among the invited guests of the event was the head of the Cultural Forces Mykola Serga. In his speech, Mykola emphasized the importance of developing and supporting social projects, in particular the initiatives of the “Live towards” platform. The emotional culmination of the event was the performance of Yuriy Ivaskevych, a graduate of the Superhumans Center, a member of the Cultural Forces, a professional singer, and the Ambassador of Barrier-Free Living of the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine. Yuriy lost his leg during military service, and now continues to sing and support the military and residents of the deoccupied territories. His voice in the space of the Superhumans Center became a reminder that culture can support where war takes away strength.

After that, the participants went to the MOST-City entertainment complex, a space where the installation will meet visitors to the city. The installation “Manifesto of Equality of Different” will remain in Dnipro until December 16. The organizers invite residents and guests of the city to visit the pop-up zone on the second floor of the MOST-City entertainment complex and learn more about the platform that helps veterans integrate into society.

The project will continue its journey across Ukraine. Because today we all need to not just talk about returning – we need to learn to live together, see and hear each other, and go to meet those who gave us a chance for the future.
