An interactive exhibition about blood and donation is opening at the "Warmbloods" donor hub

The “Warmbloods” donor hub, created on the initiative of FUIB and Mastercard, is opening a mobile interactive space about blood and donation. Together with its partners — the public organizations “Blood Agents” and DonorUA, as well as the confectionery Honey — it invites you to the opening of the exhibition and to donate blood. The “Warm Weekend” event will take place on November 20–23 at 25 Zhilyanska Street, Heritage Business Center (near Honey).

Guests will be greeted with a warm welcome, friendly hugs, and heartwarming activities. Most importantly, they will be the first to visit the exhibition inside the 13-meter double-decker bus “Warmbloods,” which has become a mobile hub for blood donation. On the first floor, there will be an interactive exhibition where you can learn interesting facts about blood — for example, how much gold it contains  and hear stories from donors and from those whose lives were saved thanks to donated blood. Above all, you will feel that donation goes far beyond a medical procedure. It is about the things that make us human: sensitive, caring, warm-blooded.

“Warm Weekend” and the interactive space are open to everyone: donors, recipients, and anyone who wants to learn more about donation — both those who have long planned to donate blood and those who have never considered it; those who can donate, and those who help others take this step.

A comfortable blood donation area will operate on the second floor of the hub, where donors will be welcomed from November 20 to 22, from 09:00 to 14:00. You can register for donation on the website: www.teplokrovni.com.ua/#calendar

Everyone planning to donate blood during “Warm Weekend” will be able to combine a good deed with a visit to the exhibition, which will be open to all visitors from November 20 to 23, from 09:00 to 19:00.

“Warmbloods” is not just a donor hub, a mobile blood station, or an educational exhibition. It is a community. The more caring people join in, the more lives can be saved.

Information about the “Warmbloods” project

“Warmbloods” is a joint initiative of FUIB and Mastercard created to develop blood donation in Ukraine. A mobile donor hub in a large double-decker bus travels to different cities, encouraging people to donate blood and promoting a culture of donation. The hub combines a comfortable and safe blood donation point with an interactive space dedicated to donation and the role of blood in saving lives.
The project is implemented in partnership with the public organizations DonorUA and “Blood Agents”. Since its launch, 225 donors have donated 101 liters of blood, giving a chance to help more than 675 people.
