The “Dawn Will Come” T-shirt Collection from Lifesaving Merch Gives Hope and Saves Lives

The social project “We Are of the Same Blood” from FUIB has released a new collection of “Dawn Will Come” T-shirts, which will help save the lives of our defenders on the front lines and promote Ukrainian art.
A special feature of the new collection is the design depicting dawns in different corners of Ukraine: over the Black Sea and the wastelands of Donbas, in the Carpathians and Kyiv, over the forests of Polissya or the endless fields of the central regions. All of them reflect the resilience of Ukrainians in times of war and dawns as a symbol of hope, strength and new beginnings.
In addition to images of dawn and the inscriptions “Dawn Will Come”, the additional meaning of the T-shirts is emphasized by inspiring quotes from Ukrainian writers, artists and soldiers.
The ambassadors of the collection are those who fight for a new day for us every day – our defenders:
- “Behind the waste heaps the sun rises, the world allows the convinced to take theirs.” Singer and commander of the R&D unit Darknode Yarmak reminds us that our beliefs lead us to success.
- “There is a beginning, because there is a dawn.” These words by Lina Kostenko are special for the pilot of the Ukrainian Air Force Ivan Smerechansky, who went on combat missions over 200 times to save others.
- “In your words – the light of the dawn and cold warmth, your sun has risen above me.” A line from the poems of the fallen soldier Maksym Yemets, published in a collection by his beloved, servicewoman Oksana Rubanyak.
- “I look up to you, I ask for your inspiration.” These are the words of Valery Horishny, a sergeant of the 12th brigade of the Azov Naval Base, who did not lose hope even in captivity after the defense of Azovstal.
- “And even after the darkest night, dawn always comes.” For Alina Mikhailova, the head of the ULF medical service of the Da Vinci Wolves battalion, dawn is a symbol of life that continues.
- “Dawn will come.” This quote inspired serviceman Vladyslav Stotsky, who spent 68 days surrounded, not to give up.
The illustrations for the collection were created by artist Anastasia Kulik and art director of the Adsapience agency Katya Parpina.
Each T-shirt is not only a stylish element of clothing, but also a chance to save a life: 50% of the cost goes to tactical medicine and blood delivery for the public organizations Donor.ua, Hospitaliers, and Blood Agents. This is a chance for a new dawn for those who defend our country.
