FUIB running club collected UAH 150,000 to support mobilized colleagues

In June 2023, the running club of the bank PUMB RUN revived. The purpose of the club is to create a healthy lifestyle culture and support Ukrainian defenders. Each run of a club member from 3 km is improved health, as well as a contribution of FUIB to the Support Fund for Mobilized Employees. The fund collects costs for the needs of colleagues who defend our independence. Workouts are tracked using the Strava app. More runs mean more help.

During 7 months of 2023, members of PUMB RUN community went on more than 3,000 runs. 127 colleagues took part in it. The total distance covered was over 23,000 km. During the year, webinars were held for runners, as well as the actual competition. The FUIB bank's own online race includes distances, winners, and commemorative medals. Each distance is also a transfer of funds to the Support Fund for Mobilized Employees. In total, the runners of the club collected 150,000 hryvnias, which were used to purchase 10 bulletproof vests for defenders.

In general, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, bank employees have collected UAH 4.3 million in the Support Fund for Mobilized Employees. For 184 mobilized colleagues, husbands and sons of our employees protective equipment, military equipment, tactical clothing and footwear, and tactical first-aid kits were purchased. From December 2023, the bank doubles the amount collected by employees to strengthen support for defenders.
