Serhiy Chernenko, FUIB's chairman of the board, became the CEO of the Year

The first HR Pro Awards Ceremony took place on November 11. The main purpose of the Award is to celebrate team and personal achievements of the profession which will help increase the level of professional practices that exist in Ukraine. Serhiy Chernenko, FUIB's Chairman of the Board, received the prestigious title of CEO 2021.

Serhiy Chernenko noted: "We are carrying out a technological and cultural transformation of the bank with a focus on external and internal clients. When implementing technological innovations, we pay the same attention to the development and well-being of our employees. I am proud of the award from the HR Pro Awards, because it is an award and the result of the work of the entire FUIB team".

Human-centeredness is the main characteristic of FUIB as an employing company. Since 2017, the bank has introduced an employee experience management system (eNPS). The project helped to improve the working conditions and atmosphere in the company. Thus, in 2018 the eNPS index was 28%, and in 2020 it was 41%.

Additionally, Serhiy Chernenko participated in the HR Pro Conference panel discussion on the topic of artificial intelligence. According to him, the integration of artificial intelligence in business management processes is already happening: "With the active implementation of AI tools, it is important to consider ethical issues and not lose the main focus – the needs and interests of people, both clients and employees – to show empathy."

The winners of the HR Pro Awards were chosen in 2 stages: at the 1st stage 50+ experts - representatives of HR-sphere who have international certification/international profile education/MBA degree; as well as representatives of Ukrainian and international companies from different cities of Ukraine who hold senior HR positions for 5+ years. At the 2nd stage – a professional jury, formed on the principle of absence of conflicts of interest. Large and medium-sized companies from 15 industries took part.
