FUIB has allocated UAH 1 million for the restoration of the Roman Catholic St. Nicholas Church

As a result of fire in the St. Nicholas Church on September 3, the internal furnishing of the building and the organ were damaged. FUIB is investing UAH 1 million in the restoration of an architectural monument.

St. Nicholas Church is a Roman Catholic church in Kyiv, built in 1899-1909 in the neo-Gothic style by Kyiv architect Vladyslav Horodetskyi. St. Nicholas Church is one of the symbols of the Ukrainian capital, known for its unique organ. The church houses the National House of Organ and Chamber Music.

Serhiy Chernenko, FUIB's Chairman of the Board, stressed: "Upon learning of the fire, the bank team did not hesitate to allocate funds for the reconstruction of St. Nicholas Church. FUIB annually invests in sustainable development, implements projects in various areas of society. For urgent need to overcome crisis situations, the bank allocates additional reserves. Ukrainian business has repeatedly proved that is ready to support the state and unite in difficult times it. Our common goal is to restore an architectural monument of national importance, to preserve the cultural heritage for future generations, to hear the majestic music under the roof of the church again."
