The Center for the Development of Corporate Social Responsibility and its Career Hub career development platform together with the First Ukrainian International Bank (FUIB) invite schools and students to participate in the My Career in Ukraine sixth all-Ukrainian project. "According to the World Economic Forum data, by 2025, 85 million jobs could disappear because machines and robots start doing more work. At the same time, 97 million jobs can be created in new fields. Do teenagers who are already choosing a profession know about it? Are they ready for the challenges of the future? Our goal is to help young people to form an idea of their future career and to make the first step towards their professional choice,” said Maryna Saprykina, Head of the CSR Development Center.

"Today, the world is changing at a rapid pace and unpredictable challenges are our new reality. The My Career in Ukraine project helps teenagers to better understand their abilities and desires; to dive deeper into the complex world of modern professions; learn more about future competencies in demand. The project teaches not to be afraid of mistakes and to take small steps to the goal, prepares for flexibility and lifelong learning, adds faith and confidence in own forces," emphasized Serhiy Chernenko, FUIB's Chairman of the Board.

My Career in Ukraine project is aimed at showing the younger generation opportunities for self-realization in Ukraine, inspiring them to choose the future profession consciously, and creating a platform for sharing the experience of successful people with the youth.

The first stage of the project will be a national lesson in schools in different regions on the topic: My Future in Ukraine from 2 to 8 April 2021. In the lesson, students in grades 9-11 will look for answers to questions about their abilities, capabilities, and what they would like to do in the future. Young people will learn what professions exist today and how they will change in the coming years, as well as get acquainted with the My Career in Ukraine project.

The project organizers invite schools from different regions to join the lesson. You can register and get acquainted with the conditions of participation on the Career Hub website: careerhub.in.ua/career-lesson-2021 Among the teachers who will fill out the form, the winners will be determined and they will receive gifts from the organizers.

From April 1 to 24, 2021, students in grades 9-10 will be able to register for the My Career in Ukraine project, describing the motivation and vision of their own career on the website: careerhub.in.ua/mycareerua

Practical webinars on choosing a profession will be held for all project participants, and 300 selected people will join meetings with successful people in various professional fields. The 30 most active teenagers participate in the final conference of the project in Kyiv and spend a day with a successful person (head of an enterprise, international organization, government agency, etc.), as well as win useful gifts from the organizers.

In 5 years, the project "My Career in Ukraine" involved more than 4,000 students, and more than 400 participants met with dozens of successful people, scientists, top managers of government agencies and leading companies: FUIB, 1+1 media, IT integrator, UNIT City, Kyivstar, Arzinger, Arterium, Film.ua, Projector, A-ba-ba-ha-la-ma-ha publishing house, NAS of Ukraine, UNICEF, the United Nations Population Fund, the National Police, the Ministry of Education and Science, the Ministry of Youth and Sports and many others.

For the consecutive sixth year, the project opens up opportunities for teenagers, including those from small towns and villages, to get acquainted with different professions and successful people. This year the organizers have prepared an even more interesting program of online events: a national lesson on the future of professions, career guidance webinars, career trainings in various fields and, of course, inspiring meetings with the top managers in the finals.
