People's choice: FUIB received "Financial Oscar" for the achievements in the field of services provision and attraction of individuals’ deposits

First Ukrainian International Bank (FUIB) has once again been recognized as one of the most reliable financial institutions for placing deposits. FUIB is in the TOP-5 in the nomination "People's Choice" of the "Financial Oscar" rating, compiled by the "Business" magazine.

As the organizers pointed out, banks which the population trusts most of all and, accordingly, which people select for placing deposits, are included in the "People's Choice" nomination. It is by the size of the deposit portfolio that a short list of banks was formed, among which the jury chose five leaders.

"It is nice that the bank's achievements in attracting deposits were noted by independent experts. Indeed, last year, FUIB increased the portfolio of individuals' liabilities by 10.87%, to UAH 17.316 billion. We managed to achieve such results, in particular, thanks to the "Free" deposit – 30% of our depositors chose this deposit. Ukrainians choose FUIB for two simple reasons – we offer very favorable conditions and ensure reliability at the level of the best European banks. It is thanks to this that the clients’ portfolio is increasing, and 85% of our depositors re-deposit their money after the end of the term", commented Sebastian Rubaj, FUIB's Deputy Chairman of the Board of Retail Business.

We would like to remind you that as at March 1, the total portfolio of funds of FUIB's retail clients, which includes current and fixed-term deposits in UAH and foreign currency, as well as the remaining funds on accounts, amounted to UAH 17.423 billion. The bank offers "Dohidniy" term deposit at the rate of up to 17.5% per annum in UAH and the "Vilniy" demand deposit with profitability of 12% per annum in UAH. Bank's reliability is confirmed by independent experts - in March, the independent "Credit-Rating" agency confirmed the deposits reliability ratings of the bank at the level of "5" (the highest reliability). The bank deposits reliability rating at the level of "5" means that the bank is reliable and minimally sensitive to adverse commercial, financial, and economic factors.

Earlier, FUIB was also in the list of the most reliable banks for deposits according to the "Apostrof" periodical.
