FUIB continues to support the "Talents from the Regions" program

First Ukrainian International Bank (FUIB), within the framework of strategic partnership with the Kyiv School of Economics (KSE), continues to support the "Talents from the Regions" program. The bank has allocated more than UAH 1.3 million of charitable financial aid, which will cover 10 grants for students from the regions.

"Those who are students today will be working at financial institutions tomorrow. That is why it is one of the banks' priorities to take care of the qualitative level of their education. FUIB plans to continue its cooperation with the Kyiv School of Economics, so that as many talented children as possible have a chance to receive high-quality financial education", commented Serhiy Chernenko, FUIB's chairman of the board.

All interested students who already have a bachelor's degree of one of the regional higher education institutions may try their hand and enter the two-year Master's Degree Program in Economic Analysis. And while future scholarship holders are preparing for entrance exams, their predecessors motivate them by their achievements. Sofia Dunets, a student who is studying under the "Talent from the Regions" program and received an education grant from FUIB, became member of one of the four teams who were finalists of the prestigious financial competition Ukraine CFA Challenge 2019.

"I believe that young people in small towns should have equal opportunities and access to the same resources as young people in big cities. This is like a race – everyone starts at the same point, but it is the strongest one who reaches the finish line first. Therefore, I am sincerely grateful to the sponsors of the grant for the start-up opportunities they provided and to the KSE for the European level of education, which is based on the respect for students and the emergence of their individuality, multiplied by high teaching standards.
