The project "My Career in Ukraine" is aimed at showing the younger generation opportunities for self-realization in Ukraine, inspiring them to professional development, and creating a platform for sharing the experience of successful people with the younger generation.

The first stage of the project is the All-Ukrainian essay competition "My Future Profession: Planning and Development." 10th graders will share their vision of the prospects of self-realization in the chosen profession and will describe what contribution they plan to make to the country's development. The deadline for the submission of essays is February 21.

Authors of the best works will attend regional meetings in one of the following five Ukrainian cities: Kyiv, Lviv, Kharkiv, Zaporizhia and Odesa, where they will meet the heads of local companies and will create their own recipe for a successful career. On May 30, 50 participants who will be most active at the regional stages will attend the All-Ukrainian Conference on Career Planning in Kyiv, where top managers of major Ukrainian companies will share their experience with these participants. And on May 31, the winners will spend one day with a successful person (head of a company, international organization, state authority, etc.).

"We are carrying out this project for the fourth consecutive year. During this time, more than 2 thousand students sent us their essays, more than 500 10th graders met with successful people, top managers of Ukrainian companies, and state authorities. Teenagers learned a lot about their future professions and will now be able to plan their future career consciously," said Maryna Saprykina, head of the Center for CSR Development Ukraine.

In the previous years, Microsoft, FUIB, 1+1 media, URSIBBANK BNP Paribas Group, Miratech Group, UIA, D.TEK, Projector, A-ba-ba-ha-la-ma-ha publishing house, The National Police of Ukraine, the Ministry of Education and Science, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the United Nations Population Fund, and many others joined the project and met with 10th graders.

"The world of professions is huge. Young people need support from adults who were looking for their place in the world, were making mistakes, and did not stop, but continued to move forward until they found their vocation. This project helps students choose their way in life consciously, believe in themselves, and perceive challenges as new opportunities. In this year's competition we expect to see more participants, ambitious goals, and daring dreams of future professionals," commented Serhiy Chernenko, FUIB's chairman of the board.
