FUIB increased the amount of cash loans on the open market by 140% in the 1st quarter of 2017
In the 1st quarter of 2017, First Ukrainian International Bank (FUIB) increased the amount of cash loans on the open market by 140% compared to the same period in 2016.
The bank received a significant increase in the amount of loans thanks to a new product — cash loan VSEYASNO, launched in February within the framework of the strategy for simplifying unsecured loan products for the mass segment. VSEYASNO can be called a cash loan "without thorns": without insurance, one-time commission or other fees which can be difficult for the client's understanding. Clear conditions and registration in just 1 hour made this product the leader FUIB's credit line.
At the beginning of the year, the bank continued to develop the network of cash lending sites, opening new ones and increasing operational efficiency of each of them. In addition, cash lending sites were opened in a number of customer service centers of the JSC Ukrtelecom. In the coming months, the bank plans to open cash lending sites in small towns with a population of 5,000+ people. New cities of presence include urban-type settlements, district centers in all regions of Ukraine.
"This year the demand for cash loans on the mass market remains at a high level. At the same time, the supply of banking products, especially in small towns, declined due to the withdrawal of a number of players from the market. FUIB is now actively filling this niche. Stable growth of the deposit portfolio and sufficient liquidity allows the bank to actively lend on the open market," commented Sebastian Rubai, FUIB's deputy chairman of the board, Retail business.
According to the statistics of FUIB, customers most often apply for amounts of about 11-13 thousand UAH. Without providing a certificate of earned income, where there is only a passport and a Tax Reference Number, at FUIB one can take out a cash loan for the amount from 1 thousand up to 50 thousand UAH. With a certificate of earned income, FUIB provides loans for the amount of up to 200 thousand UAH.
