Deposit Portfolio of FUIB Exceeded USD 1 Billion

In September 2012 the individual deposits with First Ukrainian International Bank (FUIB) exceeded USD1 billion. Over eight months of this year the retail deposit portfolio grew by USD100 million.

Year-to-date the retail deposit portfolio of FUIB increased by 8.0% reaching the market share of 2.95% as of 01.07.2012. In 2Q FUIB outperformed the market in terms of the retail deposit portfolio growth. In August Credit-Rating agency confirmed the highest credibility of FUIB deposits at the level of «5» (highest deposit strength).

During 1H 2012 retail deposit market volume increased by 8.9% to USD 32.6 billion. At the same time, the market growth rate has slowed in Q2. In Q1 market growth rate was 6.4% and only 2.4% in Q2 2012. FUIB also saw a reduced growth rate in hryvnia deposit portfolio and an increased one in USD.

The most popular deposit offers of FUIB over this period are “Profitable”, “Saving Deposit” and “Free”. The deposit rates at FUIB are up to 24.1% in UAH; 8.1% in USD; and 6.6% in EUR for repeat customers which also are the participants of the Loyalty Program.

As a part of its 20^th anniversary celebration, FUIB approached its customers with “Gold Found” deposit promotion that is active from 22 June to 30 September 2012. Each month the customers to have arranged a term deposit with the Bank are given a chance to win twenty 20-gram gold bars and at the completion of the campaign its main prize – 500-gram gold bar.
