FUIB Rewarded for MasterCard Selective Promotion Campaign

First Ukrainian International Bank (FUIB) has been rewarded by MasterCard international payment system “For Impressive Achievements in Development and Promotion of MC Selective product in 2011”.

The excellent results of promotion and sales by the Bank of MasterCard Gold Selective upscale package is confirmed by the business performance indicators. Over the first 8 months of this year the number of MasterCard Gold Selective cards issued by FUIB grew by 8%. Also, the volume of card transactions by active cards demonstrated significant growth by one third (35%) from the year beginning. In August 2011 the card payments in the total transactions by MasterCard Gold Selective amounted to 23%.

Within MasterCard Selective programme the Bank’s customers can enjoy a wide range of privileges accentuating their status and taste. The programme is aimed at customers who travel a lot and ensures their health insurance, urgent car re-issue and cash withdrawal outside Ukraine, and more comfort in their everyday life. The cardholders get a chance to enjoy unique discounts, gifts and other advantages each time they pay by card for purchases from merchants participating in MasterCard Selective programme. Within 4 April – 31 December FUIB is supporting MasterCard Gold Selective programme, upon which completion the participants will receive stylish gifts. The main prize of the campaign, the tour for two persons to Rome (Italy), will be drawn among the customers to have paid by cards throughout the duration of MasterCard Gold Selective promotion campaign.

“FUIB supports actively the promotions run by its partners to develop the payment card use culture in Ukraine,” says Tatyana Chernenko, Head of FUIB’s Strategic Marketing. “Most active payment card users are customers with average or higher income – young people with various interests, active life style, open to the financial market innovations and at the same time demanding prompt and high quality banking service. The holders of MasterCard Gold Selective cards are such type of people.”
