Updated chatbot «Financial restart» from FUIB: additional course on opening your own business

Platform «Live towards» from FUIB bank announces the update of the educational program «Financial restart». The chatbot, which was created to increase the financial literacy of veterans and all Ukrainians, has now been expanded with a new week dedicated to the topic «Launching your own business». The new version of the online course includes an additional sixth week, developed based on the results of surveys of participants and their needs.

Chatbot «Financial restart»: education for all

«Financial Restart» — is an educational chatbot with daily tips and challenges. It helps veterans and their families effectively manage finances, plan budgets and master basic financial instruments. The chatbot is also available to all Ukrainians who want to improve their financial skills.

To date, more than 4,500 participants have joined the chatbot. Importantly, all content is adapted for people with visual and hearing impairments through audio format text duplication and subtitles in video materials.

From now on, the course of the «Financial Restart» program covers 6 weeks of study, each of which has its own theme and curator.

New in «Financial restart»: sixth week — about business

Based on regular surveys of chatbot participants, as well as feedback received during Financial Hub events, it was decided to expand the program with a new, sixth week dedicated to the topic «Launching your own business». The goal of the supplement — is to provide veterans with the tools to start and develop their own business.

The programme will cover the following important aspects:

• how to choose a business idea and create a successful business model;
• practical steps to attract funding: how to apply for a grant;
• useful links to resources and organizations that support veteran business.

The speaker of the new week was Liya Kotyash — head of the educational and grant program «Live towards», director of the Charitable Foundation «Redut» (created on the initiative of veteran entrepreneurs), expert on veteran entrepreneurship. Since 2017, she has been leading programs to support veterans' businesses, advising on development strategy, organizing forums and educational events where veterans receive knowledge, resources and a support network for the start-up.
