Financial markets survey 17.05.2021

At the beginning of the previous week, major stock idices significantly declained. At that, the Dow Jones  Index and the S&P 500 demostrated a record-low three-day fall for the last seven months spurred by concerns regarding inflation in the US. However, already on Thursday, a positive dynamics was restored on global markets thanks to shrinking numbers of  application for unemployment benefit  in the US. At the same time, investorsignored  a report, that demostrated growing producer prices. Ukraine's GDP shrank 2.0% YoY in Q1 in 2021. Ukrainian eurobonds are traded on LSE  for the first time.
