The previous week followed an ambiguous format for the US market. On Thursday, 2 April, key stock indices demonstrated growth spurred by growing petroleum prices in the hope that the OPEC member-countries will reduce petroleum output. However, on Friday, 3 April, the market headed rapidly down after the publication of negative data on the US labor market.
