Add your +1, +2, +3 to donation: in Kyiv, "Teplokrovni" will collect blood for five consecutive days for Independence Day

 August 20 to 24, on Kontraktova Square in Kyiv, to mark Ukraine's Independence Day, a mobile donor hub called "Teplokrovni" will be operating. The initiators of the project, FUIB and Mastercard, and partners of the NGO DonorUA and "Blood Agents", have joined forces with "1+1 Ukraine" to invite Kyiv residents and guests of the capital to join in donating blood with their friends, family, or colleagues.

There are things that are easier to do together. When you feel: "You are not alone." Even donating blood for the first time.

According to research, 21% of people come to their first donation with someone* — a friend, loved one, or colleague. Having someone nearby helps to overcome anxiety and turns donation into a shared, important cause.

That is why, on the eve of Independence Day, FUIB and Mastercard, together with “1+1 Ukraine,” are urging Ukrainians to add their +1 to donation: don’t come alone, but bring someone with you who is also ready to share blood.

Five days - one joint movement

A 13-meter-high, two-story mobile donor hub "Teplokrovni" will operate on Kontraktova Square for five days, supported by the largest gas station network in Ukraine - UKRNAFTA.

On the first floor, there is an interactive exhibition about blood and the role of donation in saving lives.

On the second floor of the hub there is a comfortable donation zone, where a professional medical team will work. All collected blood will be donated to military and civilian hospitals.

In addition, an interactive exhibition will be open to all visitors every day from 09:00 to 18:00 - admission is free.

A recreation area, a charity merch shop, and a photo zone will be set up next to the hub, so after the donation you can relax and spend time together.

Media and business join the donation

“Teplokrovni” unites not only people around the donation, but also partners who want to support those who donate blood.

The main partner of the event was the channel “1+1 Ukraine”. The hosts of “Breakfast with 1+1” Nelya Shovkoplyas and Yegor Gordeyev will be among the first donors and will donate blood directly during the live broadcast. Their colleagues Lyudmila Barbir and Ruslan Senichkin will support them from the studio.
