FINDING YOURSELF IN CIVILIAN LIFE: Lectures on financial literacy for veterans from FUIB with the support of VETERAN HUB

The Financial Inclusive Hub is one of the initiatives of the “Live towards” platform, so that veterans can find knowledge, support, and new opportunities for economic self-realization. The hub hosts lectures by experts on finance, insurance, employment, investing, etc. Here you can also learn about the possibilities of the “Live towards” platform for the veteran community and get advice on various economic issues.

The hub has been operating since 2024, and during this time experienced speakers have already held more than 30 lectures in different cities of Ukraine: Kyiv, Odessa, Lviv, Vinnytsia, Dnipro, Ivano-Frankivsk, Khmelnytskyi, Poltava.

210 thousand people have already joined the Financial Hub, and the initiative continues to scale. From now on, lectures will also be held online – so that as many veterans and veterans from all over the country returning to civilian life, and defenders and defenders who are in service, can receive support for financial integration.

This year, lectures will also be given by veterans themselves who have already realized themselves in the civilian economy. For example, a veteran and project officer of an international humanitarian organization, Rodion Tristan, told how he looked for a civilian profession after the army. And Andriy Nesmachny, a veteran and founder of the Batart veteran craft workshop, shared his experience of starting his own business. The speaker of the next lecture will also be a veteran, along with an expert on veteran entrepreneurship. Veteran and entrepreneur Serhiy Zhukovsky and head of the educational grant program “Live towards” Liya Kotyash will talk about the challenges, experience, and development of veteran business.
