Donor hub "Warmblooded" is heading to Cherkasy region: join in saving lives

The mobile donor hub "Warmblooded" is heading to the Cherkasy region. On March 23-28, a specially equipped bus will stop in Cherkasy and cities of the region to collect blood to save the lives of wounded military personnel and civilians.

"Warmblooded" is a joint initiative of FUIB and Mastercard in partnership with DonorUA and Blood Agents. Its goal is to inspire Ukrainians to become blood donors and develop a culture of regular donation across the country.

The mobile donor hub is housed in a 13-meter double-decker bus, converted for education and donations. The first floor features an interactive exhibition about the value of blood and the importance of donation, and the second floor features a cozy and safe area for donating blood.

At the end of March, the donor hub will also make stops in Cherkasy Oblast. Blood collection will be provided by employees of the Cherkasy Regional Blood Transfusion Station.

The interactive exhibition on the first floor of the bus is open to everyone from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

During the few months of the hub's operation in Kyiv and Chernihiv regions, 1,553 donors donated 698.9 liters of blood — a chance to save 4,656 lives.

Donation -  is an important step in saving lives and a good habit that can become part of the culture of modern Ukraine.
