PUMB Among the First Banks to Launch eReceipt in Its Mobile App

PUMB is a leading and reliable Ukrainian bank that consistently develops digital solutions to simplify customers’ everyday financial operations and support government initiatives aimed at digitizing the economy. Another step in this direction is the bank’s support for the launch of the state service eReceipt — the national electronic receipt.
eReceipt is a digital receipt containing a link to the fiscal receipt, which customers can receive in their banking app after paying by card or via an e-wallet in a physical store or for online purchases. The receipt is stored in digital format and can be used for returns, exchanges, or warranty service.
Purpose of the eReceipt Program
- The service aims to create a convenient and modern payment and after-sales service standard for all market participants:
- Reduced use of paper receipts — lower costs and less environmental impact
- Greater convenience for customers — receipts are automatically stored electronically
- Simplified returns and warranty service — all receipts are available in one place
Transparency of financial transactions — purchase data is stored securely and reliably
Customers will be able to choose a paper receipt, an electronic receipt, or receive both simultaneously.
PUMB Among the Technical Leaders Ready to Launch the Program
“PUMB is among the first banks in Ukraine technically ready to launch and scale government programs for economic digitalization through its mobile application. Our ability to implement eReceipt confirms PUMB’s readiness to be among the technological leaders of the industry and to quickly transform government initiatives into convenient daily services for millions of Ukrainians,” - said Dmytro Polishchuk, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board for Retail Business at PUMB.
Support for the service has been available to PUMB clients since February 20, 2026.
At the launch stage, the first electronic receipts will be available for purchases in major Ukrainian retail chains: Aurora, Fora, and Ukrnafta.
The list of partners and program participants is expected to expand gradually. Pilot testing is open to businesses operating with cash registers (RRO/PRRO) and accepting cashless payments. Participation in the program allows businesses to prepare for full digital receipt implementation and reduce paper receipt costs starting in March.
To connect to eReceipt, businesses need to submit an application to join the program, configure their RRO/PRRO systems, and train their staff.
Phased Implementation
The launch of eReceipt takes place as part of an experimental project with phased implementation. At the first stage, the service will operate within a pilot involving selected national retail chains and leading Ukrainian banks technically ready to support the project.
eReceipt does not change existing requirements regarding the use of RRO/PRRO. It serves as a tool for accessing information about the settlement document stored in the RRO Data Accounting System. Its purpose is to establish a modern digital standard for fiscal receipts that meets the needs of consumers, businesses, and the state.
The service is developed by the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine in cooperation with the Ministry of Digital Transformation and Diia, the Ministry of Finance, the State Tax Service, the National Bank of Ukraine, and systemically important Ukrainian banks. Mastercard acts as the program’s technological and operational partner.
How to Receive eReceipt in the PUMB App
PUMB clients will receive a notification requesting consent to use eReceipt. After granting access to the accounts for which they wish to receive electronic receipts, receipts will automatically appear in the PUMB app after payment with the selected card.
At launch, the service will be available only to Mastercard cardholders.
The full receipt will be stored in the app for three months, while the link to the fiscal service will remain available for more than one year.
The launch of eReceipt in the PUMB app confirms the bank’s commitment to being among the leaders of digital transformation in Ukraine’s financial market.
