FUIB Deputy Chairman of the Management Board Artur Zahorodnykov Represented the Bank at the XII Legal Banking Forum
On February 17, 2026, the XII Legal Banking Forum took place in Kyiv — an annual professional platform dedicated to discussing key legal, regulatory, and business challenges of Ukraine’s banking and financial sector. The event brought together representatives of government authorities, top bank executives, law firms, fintech companies, and market experts for a strategic dialogue on the future of the financial system. Among the key topics were regulatory priorities, AML/CFT, cybersecurity, NPL management, digital trends, and the role of artificial intelligence in banking.
As part of the forum, the session “Banking & Regulation 2026” was held, where participants discussed the main industry development trends. One of the first speakers was Artur Zahorodnykov, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of FUIB, who delivered a presentation titled “MOVING TOWARD AI: FUIB’s Experience. A separate part of the presentation was dedicated to FUIB’s strategic plans for further AI implementation in the coming years, as well as the challenges and risks banks face on the path of digital transformation.
“The goal of implementing artificial intelligence at FUIB is to achieve ambitious market objectives in Ukraine’s financial sector. This aligns with our strategy and corporate culture, as an organic and mature internal demand has emerged within the bank for the use of AI technologies to address specific business tasks. AI tools are capable of significantly increasing operational efficiency and, when applied effectively, provide substantial competitive advantages in the market,” summarized Artur Zahorodnykov.
