From jewelry to treatment and training: what the "We Are of the Same Blood" initiative has achieved

In November, the “We Are of the Same Blood” project focused on the main thing — real results of assistance. Thanks to partnerships, events, and support from Ukrainians, the project managed to attract resources to treat people with burns and scars, support military and medical personnel, and continue adaptive training for veterans in different regions of Ukraine.

The “We Are of the Same Blood” project became a participant in the “Conductor of Change” event, where visitors had the opportunity to purchase jewelry from the “Beauty That Remembers” collection. This jewelry is created for those who are putting themselves together piece by piece. Those whose stories of pain have turned into stories of strength over time. 50% of each order is donated by FUIB to the “Neopalymi” program, a national charitable initiative specializing in external rehabilitation and treatment of burns and scars received during the war. 10 patients who have already undergone 85 procedures receive assistance within the framework of the treatment program.

The "We Are of the Same Blood" team also visited the Effie Awards Ukraine, where they presented current collections, talked about the importance of supporting social initiatives, and involved Ukrainians in a project that unites around the idea of ​​mutual aid.

The projects “We Are of the Same Blood” and “Live towards” in partnership with U+System and the project “Invictus Games” continue the implementation of the [Extra]ordinary project — free adaptive training for veterans. The initiative is implemented thanks to the support of Ukrainians who buy T-shirts and sweatshirts from the [Extra]ordinary collection. The mechanics are simple: one order of the collection — one adaptive training. Thanks to the support of Ukrainians, 294 training sessions were held in Kyiv, Lviv, Ternopil, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhia and Odessa regions. Among the sports, veterans most often choose golf, hockey, petanque, dancing, boxing, strength training and basketball.

In November, the “We Are of the Same Blood” project, together with “Solomianski Kotyky”, supported units of the Special Operations Center “A”, the 12th Azov Special Purpose Brigade, and the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, as well as medics and volunteer initiatives that work every day to save lives.

As part of this support, a Masimo EMMA capnograph, 150 VOLES viral–bacterial filters with heat and moisture exchangers, and 40 cannulas for an oxygen concentrator were purchased for the Hospitallers.

For “Solomianski Kotyky”, 10 water bath thermostats for warming blood and fluids, 3 batteries for blood storage refrigerators, a blood storage refrigerator, 50 blood group determination tests, 50 infection detection tests, and 50 blood transfusion sets were delivered.

145 SICH hemostatic tourniquets were purchased for "Blood Agents".
