The fourth block of the "Financial Workshop" on FUIB Bank's "Live towards" platform begins with a practical course on employment for those returning from the front

The “Live towards” platform from FUIB Bank continues its educational project through small online groups, designed to help veterans, active military personnel, and their families strengthen financial stability and build a new professional life with confidence. On December 15, 2025, the fourth block of the “Financial Workshop” will start, dedicated to the topic of employment: how to identify your career opportunities, create a strong resume, and confidently present yourself to an employer..

What will we talk about in the new course?

• how professional identity changes after service;
• how to translate military and life experience into specific skills that are understandable to employers;
• how to create an effective resume and self-presentation;
• how to assess real opportunities in the labor market and choose the direction that is right for you;
• how to prepare for an interview and what to do after the course to keep the momentum going.

About the lecturer

Anna Shkumat is a labor market expert and career consultant. She collaborates with the NGO "CF "SOS Children's Villages" in the field of personnel selection. Lecturer and co-author of practical courses on employment and professional adaptation (including for veterans and military family members). Thanks to the symbiosis of HR expertise, mentoring and psychological knowledge, she advises specialists at different stages of professional changes - from understanding their experience to forming a clear career strategy. Helps to align professional focus, strengthen self-presentation and prepare for interviews.

Class format and dates

• online (Zoom), in a group of up to 10 people;
• 4 classes: 12/15, 12/18, 12/23, 12/26;
• Telegram chat with the lecturer for constant communication;
• homework after each class;
• personalized certificate after completing the course.

Importantly:

• answer the motivational question: why do you need this workshop;
• preference will be given to those whose interests most closely match the course topic;
• if you have already participated in lectures on the “Live towards” platform, this will also be an advantage.

Applications will be accepted until December 11th.

Based on the results, 10 participants will be selected based on the following criteria: motivation; technical readiness; previous experience with the "Inclusive Financial Hub" project.Additional points are given to veterans and active military personnel.

All participants will receive a written response with reasoning (according to which criteria they passed or failed) by December 14 inclusive.

Over the three previous streams, we received 178 applications, which once again confirms the high demand for the practical course and proves that Ukrainian veterans want to move forward, master new professions, and open up prospects that will help them and their families confidently create their financial future and the future of our country.
