FUIB received several awards in the TOP20 SME Banks 2025 ranking

First Ukrainian International Bank (FUIB) took part in the annual TOP20 SME Banks ranking conducted by experts from the SME Banking Agency. The study covers more than 1,000 banks worldwide, and regional champions and global winners were recognised across four critical categories: Digital Banking, Sustainability & Inclusion, Business Banking, and Business Financing. The ranking results were announced on 28 November at the SME Banking Forum in Vienna (Austria).

FUIB was recognised in the Business Banking category as the leader in Ukraine and among the best in Eastern Europe and Europe as a whole. The organisers of the ranking first of all drew attention to the successful customer-centric business model in all segments of small business, the best dynamics, and business growth rates. After all, PUMB's small business team is constantly developing and successfully transforming the model in line with customer and market requirements.

In the Business Financing category, FUIB is among the leaders in Ukraine and Eastern Europe, and in Agrifinance, it is among the best in Ukraine. In recent years, FUIB has invested heavily in creating innovative business financing solutions to make the customer journey simpler, clearer and faster. Customers recognise these efforts by choosing FUIB to meet their business financing needs and objectives. As an innovation leader, FUIB sets the bar and encourages colleagues from other financial and credit institutions to also improve the customer experience and access to financing for their customers. 

In the categories of Digital Banking – among the best in Eastern Europe and Europe, and in the categories of Digital Onboarding, Mobile Banking, and Online Banking – the best in Ukraine.

The organisers of TOP20 SME Banks drew attention to FUIB's products and services in the field of remote service and digital experience when registering for bank products/services, as well as performing everyday operations. 

In addition, it was noted that FUIB was one of the first to launch remote account opening without the involvement of bank employees in the process, which is now used by more than 80% of entrepreneurs, new individual entrepreneur clients who establish business relationships with the bank through this process. 

The PUMB Business mobile app, which recently celebrated its fourth anniversary and is one of the youngest on the market, maintains its leadership in the Apple Store and Play Market ratings in its niche — banking apps for business.

Another category in which PUMB is recognised as one of the best in Ukraine and Eastern Europe is Sustainability & Impact.

Representatives of FUIB took part in the conference section of the SME Banking Forum, joining the discussion and sharing FUIB's experience and achievements in the discussion panels: Digital banking in SME and Business banking - Maksym Masyuk, Director of the Department for Development of the Digital Platform for Corporate Business at FUIB.  Viktor Kharkovets, Director of the Small Business Microcredit Department at FUIB, took part in the panel discussion on Business Financing. As noted by the event organisers, the event featured award-winning speakers who earned their platform through demonstrated business transformation and measurable impact.

The ranking is determined at the country, regional and global levels.
