FUIB joined the UN Global Compact event "Different Together. How EDI is Changing Business?"

On November 12, FUIB participated in the workshop “Different Together. How EDI is Changing Business?” organized by the UN Global Compact in Ukraine. The event took place at the Osvitoria Hub and brought together business, civil society, and experts to discuss inclusive practices in Ukraine.
The FUIB team was presented at the event by Zoya Minayeva, Head of the Inclusion Development Program at FUIB. In her speech, Zoya spoke about the bank’s systematic approach to creating a barrier-free environment, developing equal opportunity policies, and implementing accessible services for clients and employees.
The event brought together experts from various fields. Among the speakers were: Iryna Tytarchuk, Executive Director of ITFC, founder of the Women IN platform; Maksym Stukalo, veteran entrepreneur and veterans’ trainer. FUIB’s participation in such initiatives reflects the priority of inclusivity and sustainable development in the bank’s strategy.
“Inclusivity is about respect and openness to every person. At FUIB, we work every day to ensure that our services and environment are truly barrier-free. When businesses unite for the sake of these values, changes become faster and more tangible for everyone,” said Zoya Minayeva.
FUIB implements inclusivity through a comprehensive strategy that covers physical, informational and digital accessibility. This includes adapting branches, mobile applications and websites, as well as creating an inclusive culture through training and the “Barrier-free ambassadors" program.
Today, all FUIB branches have accessible entrances - ramps, lifts, zero-entry, navigation and warning elements, Braille signs. The bank is currently working on developing an internal barrier-free space. For people with hearing or speech impairments, all standard FUIB branches have a QR code that calls a professional sign language interpreter. 81 branches (out of 207 branches) have an internal barrier-free space: lowered cash registers, handrails, crutch holders, waiting areas for people in wheelchairs, adapted bathrooms. For people with visual impairments, a voice assistant has been installed at ATMs in 51 branches.
The FUIB Business mobile application has been updated in accordance with the principles of accessibility and inclusion. In particular, full support for screen voice technologies has been implemented - TalkBack for Android and VoiceOver for iOS. In addition, additional functions have been implemented for users with visual impairments: font settings, increasing interface contrast, voice prompts for key control elements.
FUIB continues to work on creating an accessible and convenient experience for each client and support teams in implementing modern principles of equality and respect.
