PUMB Business mobile app becomes inclusive

The PUMB Business mobile app has been updated in line with accessibility and inclusivity principles. In particular, full support for screen reading technologies has been implemented — TalkBack for Android and VoiceOver for iOS.
Besides, additional features are now available for users with vision impairments: font settings, increased interface contrast, and voice prompts for key controls such as switches, checkboxes, input fields, and buttons.
"We are convinced that digital accessibility is not just a legal requirement or a trend, but a necessity, an important step towards an inclusive society. That is why we are investing in functional solutions that make digital services convenient and understandable for everyone," comments Maksym Masyuk, Director of the Corporate Business Digital Platform Development Department.
The mobile app interface has been comprehensively adapted based on recommendations from digital accessibility experts at Access Lab, who provided practical advice on improving inclusivity.
Some of these recommendations have already been implemented in the updated version of the app, which complies with the requirements of the European Accessibility Act.
Today, the PUMB Business mobile app offers:
- Full support for TalkBack and VoiceOver
- Convenient navigation for people with vision impairments
- Enlarged font and high contrast interface
- Quick account opening (Digital Onboarding)
- Instant access to payment instruments
- Opportunity to receive advice
- Intuitive UX/UI
FUIB Business is one of the first applications on the Ukrainian banking market where inclusiveness is implemented systematically, and the team is already working on further updates.
Download the PUMB Business mobile app from the App Store or Google Play and take advantage of new opportunities.
FUIB (First Ukrainian International Bank) implements inclusivity through a comprehensive strategy that covers physical, informational, and digital accessibility. This includes adapting branches, mobile applications, and websites, as well as creating an inclusive culture through training and the ‘Barrier-Free Ambassadors’ programme. All 207 branches of FUIB have accessible entrances – ramps, lifts, zero-step entrances, navigation and warning elements, and Braille signs. The bank also helps small businesses become more accessible.
