FUIB participated in DobroRun 2021 charity run

The FUIB team took part in the most heartfelt DobroRun charity run to help children with cancer. The bank was represented by 100 volunteers.

On September 11, 2021, in order to support children with cancer, 100 FUIB volunteers ran offline and online in different parts of Ukraine. DobroRun is supporting children with cancer on their way to victory. All funds raised within the project were transferred to the Tabletochki Charitable Foundation. The foundation works in four directions: targeted assistance to families, systematic assistance to pediatric cancer departments, lobbying of the rights of patients and professional development of medical staff. During 10 years of the foundation's work, more than 5,000 children with cancer received targeted assistance. Every month, 500 families and 21 oncology departments throughout Ukraine are under the care of the foundation.

Serhiy Chernenko, FUIB's Chairman of the Board, stressed: “Our team is happy to support the DobroRun project. For the bank, the charity run is an opportunity to promote a healthy lifestyle among employees, motivate the team to run and help solve a social problem of providing the necessary medication for children with cancer in Ukraine.”

FUIB has long been cooperating with the Tabletochki Foundation. The bank has the PUMB RUN running club. All FUIB races add contributions to the Foundation for helping children with cancer in Ukraine. The bank transfers funds to the Foundation for each runner's training. All jogging contributions are calculated using the Strava app. Runners collected another UAH 2,000 in this charity race, in addition to the team contribution of UAH 50,000. At the end of the year, the bank will traditionally transfer funds for all the training collected by the team - to the account of Tabletochki.
