The First Ukrainian International Bank (FUIB) has become a financial partner of the leader of the medical industry - the Dobrobut network of clinics.

The bank's cooperation with Dobrobut MN began a year ago: at that time, FUIB was one of the first to provide investment support to the company, allocating funds for the construction and purchase of equipment for a new innovative project of the network - the Dobrobut Center for Heart and Vascular Surgery.

The official opening of the Center took place the other day in Kyiv. Its main peculiarity is the unique and the only method in Ukraine of conducting minimally invasive heart surgeries, which allows to reduce the time for patient's rehabilitation.

The team of the bank's corporate business was also invited to the ceremony, and the Deputy Chairman of the Board of FUIB Serhii Mahdych personally took part in the press conference on the occasion of the opening of the clinic. According to him, it is an honor for the bank to be a part of an event of such importance.

“The global transformations that the world is going through today have proved that the highest value, in any area, without exception, is human life and health. FUIB has always been a socially responsible business that has contributed to the development and support of various socially important projects and industries. Despite the long history of the bank, we have become involved in the investment financing of a truly national medical center for the first time. We are pleased to know that the construction of the ultra-modern Center became possible thanks to FUIB, which was selected by Dobrobut MN as its financial partner as a result of selection among a large number of banks,” commented Serhii Mahdych, FUIB's Deputy Chairman of the Board for Corporate Business. 

Oleh Kalashnikov, Director General of Dobrobut MN admitted that without the availability of additional and timely bank financing, the construction of a project of this level would hardly be possible today: the clinic is located in a 9-storey building of 10,000 sq. m, equipped in accordance with the world requirements for the provision of medical services.

Today, the center can accommodate 71 patients for inpatient treatment, and the outpatient department will be able to receive up to 500 patients a day.

“The Bank fully and completely shares the mission of the medical industry and will continue to support strategic plans for its development in the future,” summed up Serhii Mahdych during his speech.
