FUIB launches Mobile ATM pilot project in 14 villages in Donetsk region

From May 18, 2021, shareholders, employees of utilities and state enterprises and all residents of 14 villages in Donetsk region will be able to withdraw cash at the central squares or near the village council buildings at a convenient time, determined with the local communities.

Due to the pandemic, it became even more difficult for the inhabitants of remote villages to get to the nearest settlements, where ATMs or bank branches are located, because the transport connection has deteriorated. To be closer to the clients, FUIB decided to create a Mobile ATM. Now Ukrainians in remote corners of the country will be able to receive cash at a convenient time and place. These are employees of enterprises and companies that are served on FUIB's salary projects, including shareholders of HarvEast agroholding, as well as all interested local residents.

14 villages of Volnovakha and Nikolske districts of Donetsk region will take part in the pilot project: Bakhchevyk, Novoselivka, Kalynove, Soniachne, Novooleksiyivka, Khlibodarivka, Dianivka, Andriyivka, Boyove, Zelenyi Yar, Kremenivka, Respublika, Anadol, Topolyne. A specially equipped ATM will arrive in the villages at a convenient time, which will be agreed with the representatives of the territorial communities.

Andriy Vysotskyi, head of the Mariupol FUIB Regional Center, emphasized: "We listen to the client's voice and try to take into account their pain. As it is not possible to install ATMs or to open branches in all remote villages, the bank will come to its customers and deliver the Mobile ATM. In addition, it will be possible to separately arrange for the FUIB expert to come to the village to make deposits or to get credit cards, to receive advise on self-management of finances in the mobile application."

The Mobile ATM pilot project will last from May to November 2021. If the start is successful, FUIB plans to extend the practice to Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk and Odesa regions by the end of the year. To obtain this opportunity, representatives of local communities will need to contact FUIB.
