FUIB finished the first quarter of 2021 with a net profit of UAH 1 billion

In the first quarter, FUIB earned UAH 1 billion, which is 23% more than in the same period of the year before. Additionally, in 2020 the bank earned UAH 2.6 billion and maintained the net profit for the same period of the precrisis year 2019.

Bank's operating income for the quarter of 2021 amounted to UAH 2,412.6 million versus UAH 2,041.2 million in 2020. The interest income increased: the bank's net interest income before provisions increased by 21% compared to the same period in 2020 and reached UAH 2,029.1 million. According to the results of the first quarter of the year, net commission income amounted to UAH 439.2 million.

The bank's equity amounts to 9.4 billion hryvnia.

FUIB's assets amount to 84.9 billion hryvnia, whereas liabilities amount to 75.5 billion hryvnia. According to the results of the three months of 2021, client funds have amounted to 67.3 billion hryvnia.

As at April 1, 2021, bank's net loan portfolio amounted to 39.6 billion hryvnia, of which 17.3 billion hryvnia are loans given to individuals. 42% of the loan portfolio of individuals is taken by the consumer lending segment.

The bank's liquidity and capital adequacy equal almost twice as much as the standard set by the regulator. The liquidity coverage ratio (LCR) in foreign currency was 213%, in all currencies – 184% with a standard of at least 100%. The net stable funding ratio (NSFR) was 139%, with a normative rate of at least 80%. As of April 1, 2021, FUIB's regulatory capital adequacy ratio was 16.97%, which significantly exceeds the regulatory value of 10%, and fixed capital adequacy was 15.35%, with a regulatory value of at least 7%.
