FUIB, the Ministry of Digital Transformation and the NBU are preparing an educational series on financial literacy

The Ministry of Digital Transformation, the National Bank and FUIB are preparing an educational series for the Diia.Digital Education platform on financial literacy – the Financial Sensei. Therefor, the Ministry of Digital Transformation signed a memorandum of cooperation with the First Ukrainian International Bank.

Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation for European Integration Valeriya Ionan stressed that the Ministry of Education actively creates educational products for Ukrainians on the topic of financial instruments, including online instruments. "I often emphasize that financial literacy indicators in Ukraine are among the lowest in Europe. That is why we are changing this situation within the framework of the Diia. Digital Education National Project,” Valeriya Ionan said. 

This is a continuation of the projects within the framework of cooperation, which began about a year ago after the signing of a memorandum between the Ministry of Digital Transformation and the National Bank of Ukraine. In particular, the cooperation between the Ministry of Digital Transformation and FUIB is aimed at increasing the financial literacy of the Ukrainian youth. 

"Financial literacy is the area of responsibility of the state and of the banks. We want Ukrainians to use financial products and services correctly, to be able to choose banks' offers according to their needs, to use modern remote service capabilities and to follow security rules. Therefor, we regularly teach financial literacy to clients on our website, on social networks, on media platforms and during educational events,” said Serhiy Chernenko, FUIB's Chairman of the Board.

The presentation of the educational series is scheduled for April 2021.
