FUIB's net profit for the 9 month of 2020 amounted to UAH 2.06 bln
First Ukrainian International Bank (FUIB) earned UAH 2.06 billion of net profit during the 9 months of 2020. We would like to remind that FUIB's net profit for the same period of the precrisis 2019 amounted to UAH 1.99 billion.
Bank's operating income as for the 9 month of 2020 amounted to UAH 5.68 billion versus UAH 5.28 billion in 2019. The interest income increased: the bank's net interest income on reserves increased by 35% compared to the same period in 2019 and reached UAH 4.96 billion.
According to the results of the first three quarters of the year, net commission income amounted to UAH 1.19 million.
"According to the results of three quarters of this year, we can say that FUIB will end 2020 with figures close to last year. This is a worthy result, given the circumstances of 2020. According to the results of 9 months, the bank showed a profit in all areas, and this despite the fact that FUIB since April does not charge penalties for overdue loans, as well as introduced credit vacations and restructuring for retail and corporate clients," commented Serhiy Chernenko, FUIB's chairman of the board.
Bank's equity amounts to UAH 9.20 billion.
FUIB's assets amount to UAH 73.12 billion, whereas liabilities amount to UAH 63.92 billion. According to the results of the 9 months of 2020, customer funds have amounted to UAH 58.66 billion.
As at September 30, 2020, bank's net loan portfolio amounted to UAH 34.59 billion, of which UAH 12.96 billion are loans given to individuals. 42% of the loan portfolio of individuals is taken by the consumer lending segment.
FUIB continues to increase the level of capital adequacy. As at the end of the third quarter of 2020, this figure reached 19.64%.
