Most Innovative Banks: FUIB entered the TOP-20 of innovative banks

First Ukrainian International Bank (FUIB) was included in the list of the twenty most innovative financial organizations (Most Innovative Banks) in the CIS and the Caucasus region, which were noted for practical and relevant innovations in the SME segment in 2019.

According to Maksym Masiuk, head of FUIB's Development of Digital Department of Small Business, the bank is constantly working to simplify customers' access to banking products, and perhaps its top priority in working with SMEs today is to transfer the maximum number of services online.

"Continuous development and improvement of PUMB Online for Entrepreneurs functionality, electronic document flow with clients, addition of documents from a mobile device via QR-code, use of qualified electronic signature - this set of developments opens new opportunities for FUIB to remotely serve customers and allows to maintain honorary Digital Bank status not only on the Ukrainian market, but also abroad," said Maksym Masiuk.

In total, more than 40 financial institutions from Ukraine, the Caucasus and the CIS were marked by innovations in the SME segment. Together, they have implemented more than 120 such solutions. Digital transformation continues to be the main focus in the innovations of the banking sector.

The selection of the best innovations was based this year on a new methodology: each bank independently selected one, the most significant innovation, and provided information about it to SME Banking Club. Based on the data obtained, SME Banking Club experts selected the 20 best innovations and innovation banks in the region, where FUIB also was selected.
