Since the beginning of the year, Ukrainians have deposited more than UAH 1.94 billion in FUIB

During the first month and a half of 2019, clients of the First Ukrainian International Bank (FUIB) made deposits for more than UAH 1.94 billion in the bank. The volume of deposits made by individuals in UAH since the beginning of the year increased to 7.5% and reached UAH 5.5 billion.

Since the beginning of 2019, the deposit portfolio (deposits and funds on current accounts) of individuals in UAH increased by 10%, or UAH 764 million, and reached UAH 8.42 billion.

As at February 18, the total portfolio of funds of FUIB's retail clients, which includes current and fixed-term deposits in UAH and foreign currency, as well as the remaining funds on current accounts, amounted to UAH 17.11 billion in equivalent.

"The fact that more Ukrainians entrust their savings to FUIB bank is explained by several factors at once: we offer competitive rates and at the same time allow clients to choose the form of deposit which is suitable for them: either online, or at a bank branch. We also provide the opportunity to manage and control own funds in modern and convenient mobile banking. At the same time, FUIB guarantees reliability of saving funds," commented Dmytro Polishchuk, FUIB's director of the department of retail business products.

More than 70 thousand depositors have entrusted their funds to the First Ukrainian International Bank (FUIB). 85% of clients regularly redistribute their deposits at the bank after the end of the term. In general, FUIB ranks 7th among all Ukrainian banks in terms of the portfolio of deposits issued to individuals.

Most often of all, Ukrainians have been choosing the "Profitable" deposit, which has the maximum yield of up to 17.5% per annum in UAH. The promotional "Free ONLINE" demand deposit with profitability of 12% per annum, which provides for the possibility of free replenishment and withdrawal with the preservation of all previously accrued interest, was also among the "top" customer preferences.
