FUIB participates in the development of a map of banking professions

Center "Development of Corporate Social Responsibility", First Ukrainian International Bank and UKRSIBBANK BNP PARIBAS Group signed a memorandum on cooperation in the implementation of the educational project "Your Future in the Banking sector".

Within the framework of the project "Your Future in the Banking sector", a detailed map of banking professions will be developed, a web portal for free access to information for youth and teachers throughout the entire country will be created, and special materials will be prepared for holding classes on career development at schools and universities.

The project will unite business and educational institutions for the purpose of improving young people's knowledge about professions in the banking sector, so that the younger generation make an informed career choice. 

According to the latest data, economists and financiers are in the TOP-10 of the most prestigious professions of Ukraine (HeadHunter, 2015). At the same time, few young people understand the opportunities for building a career in the bank, as well as the requirements for the necessary knowledge and skills.

 "The banking sector is important for the economy of Ukraine, and by working with children we see that this is also an important sector in which they plan their profession. Nevertheless, there is always a question about the conscious choice of a profession, so this project is for the children to understand what the work and career in the bank are like," said Maryna Saprykina, head of the Center "Development of Corporate Social Responsibility".

Our bank has decided to take part in the project "Your Future in the Banking Sector", since today in Ukraine too little attention is paid to the vocational guidance of schoolchildren. Unfortunately, teenagers choose their future profession unconsciously. They do not know all the possibilities of their development, do not understand how to build a successful career. Without all the necessary information, it is very difficult for them to make the right choice. However, they will be happy only where they will be following their favorite occupation, where they will find space for their growth. The banking sector is a promising one for the younger generation. It employs economists and financiers, analysts and developers, lawyers and marketing experts. The bank is a reliable place of work, where talent and ambitions are encouraged," noted Tetyana Kostyuchenko, FUIB's Deputy Chairman of the Board of human resources.
