FUIB's portfolio of hryvnia deposits of individuals increased by 5% in October 2015

In October 2015 FUIB's portfolio of deposits of individuals in the national currency increased by almost +5% to 3.5 billion UAH, in comparison with September 2015. At the same time, overall with regard to the banking system, excluding the insolvent banks, according to the NBU, in October 2015 similar indicator amounted to +3,3%.

FUIB also observed the increase in hryvnia deposits of individuals in September 2015, when this indicator of the bank increased by +4.6% compared to the average market growth at the level of +2%.

In September and October 2015, the percentage of renewals of hryvnia deposits in FUIB equals 90%, which is the highest indicator since the beginning of the current crisis in Ukraine.

In September-October 2015, the structure of maturity of hryvnia deposits attracted by the bank changed –the share of medium-term and long-term deposits (6-12 months) increased. In the aforementioned months, the share of such deposits exceeds 35%. For comparison, in the summer of the current year, the share of deposits with such maturity amounted to about 25%.

"The dynamics of FUIB's deposit portfolio in October 2015 exceeds the average market indicator. The Bank ensures its result by the stable performance, confirming the confidence of depositors, paying compensations of the Private Deposit Guarantee Fund for clients of insolvent banks, as well as thanks to the marketing efforts during this period.

In particular, in October 2015, FUIB launched a 10-week promotion for clients with deposits - "Salary from FUIB". 10 winners will be receiving 10 thousand hryvnia monthly throughout a year. Depositors, who place a fixed-term deposit in FUIB until the end of the year in the amount of at least 10 thousand UAH for a period of not less than 3 months, take part in draws of the cash prize, that is, "salary from FUIB". The bank announces the winners on Wednesdays, on the morning show on television and radio broadcasting company "Ukraine", in order to ensure maximum transparency.
