FUIB acts as the partner of 4sqDay 2013 in Kiev

First Ukrainian International Bank (FUIB) has acted as the local partner of the 4sqDay (Foursquare Day) – global event for users of Foursquare geolocation network internationally held annually on 16 April.

The 4sqDay (Foursquare Day) is celebrated all over the world by the members of this social network who on their own determine its format. The Ukrainian community of the active users for the third year running participate in the global movement. The service is especially popular in Kiev, but over 2012-2013 the community grew significantly in Odessa, Dnepropetrovsk, Donetsk, Kharkov, Lvov, Rovno, Vinnitsa, Poltava and other cities. According to the data from fourua.com there are over 100 000 Foursquare users in Ukraine and more than 170 000 participating venues (cafes, shops, historical places, etc.). It is worth mentioning that as of April 2012 the number of users from Ukraine was about 21 000.

So far FUIB is the only large bank in Ukraine with the official presence in Foursquare geolocation social network with more than 160 outlets of FUIB pinned on its map. Throughout 2012-2013 they were visited by over 2000 unique visitors to have made more than 9000 check-ins (pinned the Bank’s outlets as the venues they visited). The FUIB’s page in Foursquare acquired 500 fans and became one of the TOP 20 Ukrainian brands most popular in Foursquare.
