The Platform for the Integration of Veterans  «Live towards» introduces the «Financial Workshop» — educational project in the format of small online groups, designed to give veterans and military personnel practical skills for employment, business start-up, investment and financial planning.

The first course starts on September 2.

  • plan big expenses;
  • see the financial picture of your life — and make decisions confidently.

👉 Topics of the next workshops will be announced on the Telegram channel «Live towards»

Why it matters

Veterans and military personnel made a request that we did not leave aside. During the implementation of the «Financial Inclusive Hub» project, we held more than 20 lectures in different cities of Ukraine. And received dozens of similar reviews: «We want more practice». That is why we have created a new format of — interactive online classes in small groups, with a focus on action, result and personal interaction with the lecturer.

What gives «Financial practicum»

  • 4–5 online sessions in a group of up to 10 people;
  • homework;
  • Telegram chat with lecturer where you can get feedback, ask questions, get support;
  • name certificate signed by a lecturer, an expert in his field. It confirms the successful mastery of practical knowledge and skills acquired during training and is evidence of readiness to apply them in real life.

Training lasts 1–2 months at a convenient pace (1–2 classes per week).

Topics of future courses and lecturers:

  • Employment – Anna Shkumat:

it will help you understand how to effectively look for a job, make a convincing resume and pass interviews confidently.

  • Investments – Dmytro Karpilovskyi:

will explain where to start the investor's journey, how to avoid common mistakes and build a balanced investment portfolio.

  • Veteran business – Leah Kotyash:

will share tools to start your own business after service and show you how to turn an idea into a viable business.

Based on the results of training applications, the first 10 participants will be selected according to the following criteria: motivation, technical readiness, previous experience with the «Inclusive Financial Hub» project. Also, additional points to the rating will be given to veterans.
All participants will receive a written response from the project with arguments on what criteria they passed or did not pass for training until September 1 inclusive.

Results

Each participant must leave the course with:

  • practical skills in a specific field;
  • by a clear individual action plan;
  • feeling supported and confident that «can».

«Financial practicum» — is another step towards. To new opportunities. To stability. To yourself — as a professional, entrepreneur. We created this course to support those who return — and want not just to adapt, but to live fully. Live towards a new life.
