Last week, the world’s key stock indices mostly showed a decline. This is primarily due to rising yields on US government bonds amid rising inflation fears, as well as expectations of actions of central banks, aimed at tightening monetary policy. Instead, strong data in company reports for the last quarter somewhat relieved the pressure on the markets.
